Magnolia in pencil II

£725.00

Artist: Heloise O'Keeffe

Title: Magnolia in pencil II

Dimensions: 30x21cm

Unframed

About the works:

These two drawings were done as part of a series, exploring form and texture in nature. I was fascinated by how abstract the form became the closer I zoomed into the object and wanted to experiment with how I conveyed this almost molecular structure and form using pencil. Working mostly with the female form I was drawn to the magnolia flower because of it's curves and I saw a lot of similarities with the female figure
