Hello everyone! Welcome to the first ever Behind The Artist Podcast. I am very excited to announce my guest, the fabulous, emerging artist Gail Reid. Most recently reaching the semi finals of Portrait Artist of The Year, Gail captures the character of her sitters through the careful studies of their posture and clothing. Her work is thoughtful and she celebrates the human body through her portraits, embracing the natural form. As well as portraits, Gail also produces landscapes and still life, carefully choosing objects, playing with anthropomorphism.
