Lynne Arnison is an artist who takes a keen interest in social documentary. Focusing mainly on people and their environments, she also likes to weave a narrative into her images. Inspirations and subjects for many of her works are derived from her strong working class roots in West Yorkshire. Despite growing up and living in a Northern climate she has strong use of colour in her work. Since 2008 Lynne has had a residency at Burton Agnes Hall. Her work from these residencies have resulted in her own particular interpretation of the architecture and the history of the Hall and gardens.
